Kayak and Stand Up Paddle Board Rental

We offer free anytime rentals during the outdoor season (May-Sept) for members and package students who do not have their own equipment so that they can practice their skills locally with peers from our programs in preparation for the next course in our progression. In short, free rentals are offered exclusively to support our outdoor instructional programs only.

Rentals are on a first-come, first-served basis and can only be checked out by the individual using the equipment. Free rentals end when you complete the final course, or two years from the date of your first course, whichever comes first. We reserve the right to suspend rentals due to environmental conditions, or for any other reason. Rentals are not provided so students can take non-students paddling. (Please refer these folks to us for instruction!) Free rentals are not provided for our indoor practice or "Bombproof" rolling lessons offered November through April. Students must bring their own equipment to these sessions.

Recommended Car Equipment

For eligible school members, when you come by to pick up your rental kayak or paddleboard, we recommend that you use a pickup truck, large van, or car with a roof rack. Soft racks are also available to use free of charge, but may not work with some vehicles. Tie-downs are provided for free with all rentals. Give us a call if you have any questions and we'll help you out.

Cost, Reservations, and Contact Info

Kayak and paddleboard rentals are free for school course package members from May through the end of September. Rental availability is on a first-come, first-serve basis.
